VEHICLE RENTAL AGREEMENT — JRKR LLC d/b/a Boston Slingshot Rental

1. Parties & Vehicle

Between JRKR LLC ("Owner") and the undersigned renter ("Renter") for the 2026 Polaris Slingshot S AutoDrive, VIN 57XAATHD1T8169208 ("Vehicle").

2. Eligibility, License & Sole Driver

Renter is at least 25, holds a valid motorcycle license or M endorsement as Massachusetts law requires, and certifies the license photos provided are authentic. ONLY the verified Renter may operate the Vehicle; operation by anyone else voids the damage waiver and makes Renter fully liable for all resulting loss.

3. Helmets

MA law requires DOT-approved helmets. Owner provides two; Renter agrees all occupants wear them at all times.

4. Permitted Use & Territory

Paved public roads within New England only. Prohibited: racing, track or off-road use, towing, burnouts, stunt driving, operation while impaired, and any illegal use. No smoking; no pets ($150 cleaning fee).

5. Security Hold

A $1,000 refundable hold is placed at pickup and released within 7 business days after return inspection, less any amounts owed under this agreement.

6. Damage Responsibility & Optional Waiver

Renter is responsible for damage during the rental up to $1,000. The optional $29/day damage waiver reduces that responsibility to $500. The waiver is NOT insurance, and does not cover tires, wheels, undercarriage, interior, lost keys, or any damage occurring during prohibited use.

7. Fuel, Return & Late Fees

91+ octane only. Return at the agreed time and place with the pickup fuel level. Late return: $50/hour, capped at one day's rate per day late.

8. Cancellation & Weather

Full refund if cancelled 72+ hours ahead; 50% at 24-72 hours; no refund under 24 hours. If sustained heavy rain is forecast for the rental window, Owner offers a one-time reschedule credit.

9. Tolls, Tickets & Impound

All tolls, citations, tickets, and impound/storage costs during the rental are Renter's responsibility, plus a $25 administrative fee per item processed.

10. Breakdown & Trip Interruption

If the Vehicle suffers mechanical failure not caused by Renter, Owner's sole obligation is a pro-rata refund of unused time. Owner is not liable for consequential damages, substitute transportation, or trip interruption costs.

11. GPS & Recovery

The Vehicle may be equipped with GPS tracking. Owner may recover the Vehicle immediately, without refund, upon breach of Sections 2 or 4.

12. Condition Record

Both parties adopt the timestamped 12-photo check-in and check-out records made in this app as the binding record of Vehicle condition.

13. Personal Property

Owner is not responsible for personal property left in or on the Vehicle.

14. Assumption of Risk & Indemnification

Renter acknowledges the inherent risks of operating an open-cockpit three-wheeled motorcycle, assumes all risks of operation, and agrees to indemnify JRKR LLC and its members against claims arising from Renter's use — except to the extent caused by Owner's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

15. Insurance & Misrepresentation

Coverage terms are as disclosed at booking. Misrepresentation by Renter (including license status) may void coverage, leaving Renter fully liable.

16. General

Renter consents to electronic signature and records. Massachusetts law governs; venue is Suffolk County, MA. If any clause is unenforceable, the remainder survives. This is the entire agreement.
